Charter House - Hollywood Beach Hotels

The staff were nice this review has nothing to do with them. However the room was horrendous. No handle on bathroom door, white stains behind bed, no soap or towels, and run down outside and toilets and mattresses etc. It didn’t feel safe so we stayed elsewhere. I wouldn’t waste your money.

This building needs to be condemned. I don't understand how this property can legally rent out their rooms. It's absolutely disgusting. Mold everywhere, broken appliances, TV doesn't work, water drips down from the ceiling and along the walls. You cannot get a hold of the office(which is located on a different property)The courtyard is completely trashed. Squatters sneak into empty rooms and are violently thrown out every morning. There are no blinds or curtain in the bathroom, everything is sticky and or/has a foul stench. DO NOT STAY HERE

This hotel felt more like a drug hous or a shelter. The unit had old moldy equipment the room was cleaned up but there was dust on the fan, mold on the shower and bathroom. The bed had a cigarette burn. Iv stayed in motels better then this honestly I don't know how they pass health inspections because the place looks trashed down. I booked one knight but couldn't stay the whole night after 3 hours of being there i decided to leave and dropped off the key at the office. But the office was closed after 6. Why would they close the office at 6? What about late check-in? Do they not serve their customers after 6?

This is the worst hotel experience I ever had. I hate to leave a bad review, but I feel I have to, to warn people of this place. First they sent me to a wrong room, with twin bed. No big deal, mistakes happen, but when I called the front desk, person who introduced himself as owner was very rude, yelled at me and blamed me for telling them it was for one person, which is not true - I booked queen suite and paid $200 not including the $15 resort fee. They eventually moved me to another room, but this left a bad taste in my mouth - horrible customer service. Little did I know it was only the beginning. The room was filthy, there was used soap in the shower with hair on it! My feet were dirty after walking barefoot from bathroom to bed. There was an empty roll on toilet paper. Missing flo

Positive: Very close to beach. Also had a kitchen Negative: To get keys and check in I had to walk 3 blocks to The Caroline. Then walked back and housekeeping had key. Couldn't find her and she didn't speak English. TV didn't work at all. Lock was hanging half off of door. Also hidden parking fee of $25
