Charleston AFB Military RV Park (FamCamp)

Me and my wife 1st time staying at the family camp at jb Charleston. Stayed for just 1 night to see how we like it. Jill made our stay very pleasant from the time I called and spoke to her over the phone 2 days before arriving. She made sure our site (D) was cleaned up the day of. That alone definitely made our stay not only very pleasant but we cannot wait to stay again in the future.

Very well kept, beautiful park. Restrooms and laundry were clean and well kept. Laundry is $2 wash $2 dry. The only reason for not getting 5 stars is the poor drainage in site 24. We had 2 inches of standing water surrounding our rig for 2 days after the rain stopped. All other sites were dry. So just avoid that site in the rain.

We really loved this fam camp. The sites are large and wooded. The bathrooms are clean and warm! The hosts were amazing. I saw them each day working their tails off keeping the place immaculate. We had to come in early and then leave early because of snow and a problem with our camper with the freezing temps. They were amazingly accommodating. The only negative - was the number of aircraft in and out, the shooting noise and a fairly consistent train passing by. BUT this is a Base so it is expected when staying on base. Loved JB Charleston!

We always enjoy staying at the Charleston AFB famcamp. The paved sites are level and it’s always clean with great shade. The friendly staff is always very helpful. And historic downtown Charleston is just a quick 20- minute drive.

Stayed for a month thank you everything was phenomenal and both camp hosts were great.
