The host was outstanding-- He helped us set up and he gave us alot of info on local things to enjoy. Our third night in Parsons, he took us on a boat ride in his beautiful catamaran. Such a gracious host! We will be back! Thank you for a wonderful, extended 4th celebration!
It was our first trip in our new (to us) RV. When we talked to Dan (owner) on the phone while making the reservation, he offered to help us get set up. Boy, was he ever a huge help! He spent an hour or more with my husband, showing him all the things to get us situated! This made all the difference in the world to our stay! It was a very quiet area, the closest neighbors being a cemetery. There are stated quiet hours, which we really appreciated, wanting a relaxed and restful time, as new retirees. We spent time exploring the neighboring town (cute!) of Linden and going to Mousetail State Park to wade in the water and watch waterfowl. Dan offered to take us on a boat ride in his cabin cruiser (it has a bathroom!), and we took him up on it! We spent about 2 hours on the TN river, sightseein
Dan was very helpful and even assisted me on setting up. I appreciate the washer and dryer on location. Definitely a hidden gem. Take his advice and let Dan lead you in to the park.
Dan was an absolute gentleman who made us feel at home. He was absurdly helpful in guiding us to the lot and assisting whenever it was needed. While the approach is a bit bumpy, the actual sites are perfectly level and are peaceful at night. Hot showers and laundry facilities are clean and work well. No toilets, but dumping stations are included on each site. Stayed two nights, would definitely stay again. We took Dan up on his offer for a boat trip and had a lovely time admiring the beauty of the river and listening to his seemingly endless supply of fun stories. Highly recommended!
The cutest little campground. We stayed for the night and had a wonderful time. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. It’s brand new and has everything you could need. The grading is done really well, which makes leveling very easy. It’s also easy to get into and out of, and of course the scenery is beautiful. We can’t wait to come back!
