Cedar Hill Motel

I booked a room for two nights and only stayed one night. The Motel is NOT as it is advertised. It is filthy dirty. The room we stayed in had no heat in the bathroom and it was a cold night. The bathroom was filthy, There was an old hair conditioner wrap stuck to the shower. It looked liked it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. The only heat was an extremely loud electric heater above the bed. It was so loud we couldn't sleep with it on. When we turned it off we froze in the room. There was not proper bedding , a flat pillow, a sheet and a light cover. We stayed one day and left the next., without a refund, we just couldn't stay another night. They did not sell what they advertised.!

If I could, I'd give a negative star! Stayed here a night and had a couple friends over to play poker. Not doing anything wrong, unlawful or anything. The owner came out and was harassing one of my friends, weirding him out even more. Then a little after 11 at night, I wanted a drink but oh no, not even any vending machines around either? So I go to Speedway, gone for no more than 10 minutes, get back, then everyone else ends up leaving. The owner then knocks on the door to our room saying "there's too much activity going on through here. I told you guys no going in or out." I get right back in his face and tell him I paid for this bloody place and if I wanted to go get a damn Mt. Dew to drink from the gas station, I'm gonna go get me a damn drink! I then get accused of being a dope dealer

I drive for a living, so stay in dozens of hotels a year. This was one of the worst. On the upside, the caretaker was very kind and accommodating. The first thing I noticed upon entering the room was how it was falling apart, the carpet was gross, the bathroom in need of repair, and the TV terribly outdated, pretty much useless. The room was non-smoking and stank HORRIBLY. There was hair all over the bathroom, crumbs in the small fridge. The pillows, just two, were flat as pancakes and the bed uncomfortable. There is a hotel in the same town that runs for about just a few dollars more that is SUPER NICE! I'd look elsewhere if you want to stay in Hillsboro, Ohio.

Very clean, affordable and excellent service. It may not be a luxury hotel, but for a family of 5 to stay for $50 a night is a great deal. Rooms have fridge, coffee maker, A/C and microwave. It's just a short drive to Rocky Fork State Park. We will definitely stay here again!

I stayed for a number of months for contract work in the surrounding area. the geography was perfect and Hillsboro Oh. is a fine town, small but had everything I needed. The motel is an aged lady with clean rooms and the other guests were quiet. I was there long enough to build affinity with the Mgr. Paul. As with the motel he is no frills and straight up. Pros: Rates, Location & staff. Cons: No valet parking, continental breakfast or complementary bar.
