Cedar Cove Cabins

Aside from the flowage, there really isn't another attraction close to Cedar Cove Cabins, except the adjacent resorts Bar. The wifi is great, big screen smart TV that youay log in with all your own pass keys. The place was clean. Furnished. The mini split air conditioning was complicated, I need a good walk through on how the system works/programed. Every unit has its own side of a dock. Our part was three male adults, two kayaks and a canoe. The flowage differs from the Chippewa in that there seems to be numerous more stumps, both exposed and submerged. The town of Mercer is a 25 min drive, with bar and grills, gas stations, arcade, restaurants and rentable outdoor equipment is available.

We made Cabin 4 our “home” for the week and enjoyed our stay to the fullest. Inside the cabin you have all of the necessities as well as a variety of sleeping arrangements. The views are beautiful and the location is peaceful. Luckily our neighbors were all anglers and seemed to be gone most of the time so it was extra quiet. We had the opportunity to experience summer and autumn weather during our stay and the cabin is accommodating for both. Warm temperatures: it started out pretty dang hot in the cabin and it took us a minute but we figured it out with the help of the directions on the walls for better airflow. We absolutely loved this place. The cabins were clean and comfortable with everything we needed. The location is perfect with easy launching to the flowage and right on the snowmobile trail. There is a bar about 100 feet away with food and drinks if you want to socialize, which we did. 100% would recommend. We will be back!!

This is a beautiful and quiet place to stay! Very friendly people from all states. We took our kayaks and it was a peaceful trip. No jet skis tearing up the waters just respectful boaters. Wonderful time! Cabin #2 right on the water.

We stayed in cabin #4, a very spacious A-Frame with two floors. The cabinets were extremely well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, cups, utensils and lots of quality stuff that made us feel right at home. All of the appliances are up to date and work very well. The place was spotless and well organized. Access to a dock is right outside of the back door where the view of the lake and sunrise is spectacular. Sierra and I caught four very nice size smallmouth bass right of the dock before heading out to explore the lake in our kayaks. Cedar Cove Cabins is a great value in the Turtle Flambeau area.
