This place is amazing... If you really want to get down to earth and unplug this is the place for you. Nature is at your finger tips and beautiful water. I am telling you it is a complete get away from the rat race. No there isn't running water in the cabins, but Scott makes sure you have all you need from a big water container right in your room and the A/C is cold. None of the reviews have mentioned Annie the donkey. She is so cool. She walks around the camp grounds making visits. I come from a farming childhood and this place takes me back home to some good times. If you're not B country living and being off the grid, it's probably not for you. But don't leave a bad review, your not staying in a hotel.. PS> Annie loves carrots and apples. Scott and Amanda are great hosts!!!

We took the family up for the weekend expecting to enjoy nature and the water. We never expected to make great new friends with the other campers as well as the hilarious and kind staff! Would highly recommend for families, business retreats or anyone looking for a relaxing escape...

The most relaxing camp out I have ever had ,great property and very well maintained thru out. The new owner operated with integrity. The cabins are super cute & clean. The shower houses work amazing. Lots around to explore, rock collecting & arrowheads to find.

Yes!! So happy we went ! The new owners have already cleaned the place up tremendously , the river is much safer now and will be even more so next year . Not only has the river been cleaned of trash so has the campgrounds . Renovations and upgrades to come over the winter . The new owner is a hoot! Straightforward honest and everyone associated are genuinely great people . I totally suggest you stay and camp . The float down the river is stunning. No soon forgotten. We will definitely be coming back next year!! Large groups with children can book the secluded Monkey Camp and have a great campfire story sighting (of one of the employees) of the infamous monkey of the woods ! It was priceless . Book now . You won’t be disappointed

The owner and her employee Bub were friendly and efficient. We camped, and the sites were nice & shaded with a fire ring and grill. Bathrooms are port-o-potties, but ours was probably the cleanest one I've been in! They had a shower house, but no place to brush teeth or WASH HANDS. That was a downer. Our tent site was a bit rocky, so bring an air mattress or cushion. Did not end up canoeing, because the owner pulled up weather radar before we were to head out, and saw that a storm was coming. This was nice because it would have been a long cold day on the river. Will try another time. There is quite a bit of junk lying around the office area, which makes it look a bit trashy, but hey...it's the OZARKS, you aren't going to get the Ritz for a $30/nt camp fee! Oh yes!
