Cayucos Sunset Inn Bed & Breakfast

This place is marvelous. We felt very much taken care of. How true is it - love is in the little details! Complimentary cookies were fresh out of the oven when we arrived at the Inn late in the evening. Harmony was very welcoming and attentive. The location is stunning, the room was spacious, clean and well equipped. Harmony even went out of her way to provide us with cutlery & dishes, and she toasted some bread for our late dinner - how kind of her. Breakfast was among the best we have ever had! Cherry-filled French toast & chile frittata with frijoles… what else? It’s simply great here. Looking forward to coming back!

What a LOVELY and peaceful bed & breakfast...and only a 60-second walk to the ocean! I was so happy with my stay there on my route from NorCal to SoCal, that I cancelled my return reservation in Cambria and booked another room here on my way home. Both rooms were extremely clean & comfortable with spa tubs, fireplaces, and sliding glass doors leading to patios where I could hear the distant ocean waves. The beds were super comfy: I slept like a baby there, which is unusual for me when I'm on the road, staying in a new place. ||The breakfast was exquisite: a choice of frittata with potatoes and bacon or sausage, served with fresh-baked muffin, coffee and OJ, or a cherry-stuffed cream cheese waffle with bacon or sausage, fresh fruit, muffin...BOTH were next-level YUMMINESS! ||The se

My family and I recently stayed at the Sunset Inn Bed & Breakfast for a relaxing 3 day trip to Cayucous. Our rooms were great. Very clean, quiet comfy, spacious, inviting and relaxing. The jetted tub made it nice after a day of walking around shopping, exploring and dining. The fire places made it nice to warm up after a day in the cold wind. The location is great also, within walking distance of the shops and restraunts. The breakfasts were great and very convenient. Everything was fresh, delicious & made when you get there by professionals. A perfect way to start our day of adventures! The cookies and milk they deliver to your room at the end of the day were a nice touch. Matthew and staff were great, polite, helpful and very personable. Positive: It is a beautiful place to stay. Negative: The only sort of complaint I have is that I think the room was designed for taller people than us.

We stayed for four nights in the Paradiso room. The room was very clean and furnished well. Good lighting with the two skylights, reading lights on the night stands, and lots of lights in the bathroom. The shower was great! The breakfasts were presented well and were delicious. The portions were good. The staff kept the whole place spotless. We enjoyed our stay and the evening cookies were a plus. :) The 4th of July decorations in the dining room were lovely. I rated the room with 4 stars because the mattress topping was not a king size one so it bunched up whenever we slept on it. I did mention it to staff so it's probably corrected by now. The nightly rate was abit more expensive but we were definitely treated well. Thank you!
