Cathedral Valley Inn

I recently had the pleasure of staying here and was genuinely impressed from start to finish. The check-in process was smooth and welcoming, with staff who were friendly, professional, and eager to help with anything we needed. Lei and Niki are an amazing duo! The room was spotless with a vintage aesthetic which feels like a home. I especially appreciated the attention to detail — from the quality toiletries to the quiet atmosphere that made it easy to relax. Breakfast offered a decent amount of food to get me through the day. I was surprised at the amount of food they offered due to the location being far from stores. Otherwise it was great. Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations. We came through twice while discovering the beautiful Capitol Reef area on our bicycles. The first time, we were allowed to have our picnic lunch in the shade under the tree. Also, we got very friendly, knowledgeable and accurate advice on the gravel roads in the area. The informationen was much more helpful than at the Parks visitor center. The second time we rolled in we were allowed to fill up our water, drink coffee, use the WiFi and buy some pop. Again, the staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. We never intended to stay for the night, also they were fully booked. But we highly recommend this place to anyone travelling through.

It was a pleasant surprise to find this motel in the middle of nowhere, been travelling from LA and stayed in many motels and this rates in the top few, was surprised when I opened the room door as the standard of the room was pleasantly nice, clean white bed sheets the room was fresh looking, I would definitely stay here again.The owner Nick and his wife were very pleasant and you could see that Nick a proud owner and was aiming at a high standard for his motel and is achieving this.I very rarely praise accommodation like this but staying there for 2 nights was a pleasant surprise.Thanks Terry.

This place is a little gem located about 30 minutes from Capitol Reef National Park. We booked a room for one night, super affordable, very pleasant hosts, free breakfast, decent accomodations. There is a pool although is was closed for the season. The hotel offers free breakfast, coffee which was hot and always full, waffles, cold cereal, yogurt, bagels etc. Checking in was a breeze and the room was basic but clean and suited our needs. Would 100% recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in the area.
