Catawba Falls Campground, LLC

We loved our stay at Catawba Falls Campground! It’s a peaceful, family-run spot right on a beautiful creek — perfect for relaxing after a day of hiking. The owners clearly care about keeping it quiet, clean, and family-oriented. The on-site coffee shop is a must-try — such a cozy surprise with great drinks and friendly service. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a calm, scenic getaway near the falls.

Wow! We love this campground so much. This was our best family camping trip ever. We loved tent-camping by the river, and our 7-year-old had a blast at the impressive playground. The spots were shady, the bathrooms were clean, and the staff was super lovely staff.

We only stayed one night here while passing through but it was a great find. The host was very welcoming and friendly. The bathhouse was clean and updated. The stream ran right behind our site. Close to a beautiful hiking trail.

LOVE this campground! Owners are amazing. We had an issue w/ our RV and they us helped fix it! Kim was incredibly generous with her time and always a smile on her face. They take pride in their business and truly want happy campers. We enjoyed the amenities and its conveniently located to many attractions. We had our electric bikes and drove everywhere - including to Black Mountain. All the campers staying there were so friendly and we WILL be back again. Thanks Kim

This was my first time at a private campgrounds and would definitely come back again. The sites were well spaced, the staff was attentive and helpful. The camp store had a great deal on firewood and being on a creek was nice. The best part was the location allowing us to both hike Chimney Rock and explore Black Mountain.
