Catalina Motel Corpus Christi, Texas

Me and my partner stayed here for a week to see my family. (Dec.2025) I want to acknowledge the WONDERFUL experience I had here! I’ve been to a lot of hotels/motels and this motel was better than some much more expensive ones I’ve stayed at. The woman running the lobby was so sweet and the room was better than expected. COLD air conditioner that worked GREAT! They gave us extra towels and toilet paper and the pillows and bed were great! NO BUGS and pretty clean! Super quiet and beautiful. Thank you so much and we will be back! :)

Positive: Staff was helpful and courteous Negative: I did not like the standing water in the shower. The pressure was very low but the standing water was the worst.

This is FILTHIEST place. I couldn't shower as it was the dirtiest I've ever seen. Soap scum and hair ! Oh, let's not forget the TV did not work. A resident can be close to the wildlife. In darkness sit outside and watch the rats scurry around. Fun

This is a nice little hotel for the price point right on the Ocean drive in Corpus. The rooms were clean. The proprietor was friendly and helpful. The area is quiet and residential with an HEB within walking distance. If you're visiting Corpus on a budget, but want to be near the water - Catalina Motel - though on the older side - is a gem.

Came in late, but they booked my brother and I very quickly. Top notch hospitality, and extremely friendly. Rooms are nice and clean, beds are comfy, good air conditioner. Would highly recommend if you're on a budget or just passing through for the night.
