Castle Rock BnB - Colstrip, MT

Castle Rock B&B is a fabulous place to stay when visiting Colstrip or the surrounding area. Lauren and Joan are excellent hosts, and the rooms and common areas are always maintained to the highest of standards. Joan goes out of her way to make guests feel taken care of and comfortable during their visit. I would highly recommend!

This is not a B+B. It's a long term rental that the owners are also trying to rent to short-term guests.||||It's located in a simple ranch house. There's no indication outside that it's a B+B so we weren't sure we were at the right spot. When we arrived, the manager came over from next door and let us in. Apparently, the owner lives elsewhere.||||The carpets and floors were dirty, there was stale food in the microwave, the kitchen chairs were stained, and the fridge was full of leftovers and an assortment of open packages of food. We soon learned why: There were two long-term renters downstairs who had access to the entire house and kitchen. So, we felt like we were borrowing their space. Do not book here!!! The description is a complete lie. We showed up to a hostile & was scared of getting murdered. Couldn’t get ahold of the owner when we arrived to confirm this dump was the right place & had to get a room at the local hotel. Owner refuses to refund our money & we never parked our car much less enter this scam house. Would highly not recommend! Wish I could give a minus rating.

Have stayed at better. .note said "drinks in fridge..." None there, breakfast cold when brought in, common rooms could have been cleaner...dryer filter clogged with lint. I had to clean it....for $150 nite ...not great 6 days later ...no response....so they don't care!!!!

The hostess was amazing! Very accommodating for my last minute travel plans. The B & B atmosphere was very welcoming and I immediately felt relaxed and comfortable. Coffee was fresh every morning. My room was fresh and motivating for morning meditating and yoga and I had my private entrance. The bed was inviting and I was asleep by 9:00 pm for three nights in a row. For all the federal government workers, this B &B has Government Rates. This was my first time staying at a B & B and I will definitely stay here again!
