The casitas at Los Milics Vineyard are state-of-the-art prefab mini-homes or ADUs. They are far more high-tech and more comfortable than a typical hotel room. Right now there are nine of these units abutting an eastern vineyard and facing Mt. Bruce, the northernmost peak of the Mustang Mountains, known locally as The Biscuit. Not coincidentally, the restaurant at Los Milics goes by the same name (see photos). There are several places to see in the area, but the best reason to spend a night or two in a casita is so that you can experience Los Milics wine tasting during the day and dining at night. We recently did both during an overnight stay and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The wines are from Los Milics' vineyards and are blends of different varietals. A tasting flight will give you
It’s a nice vineyard, but for the price we paid, we honestly expected more. We stayed in one of the casitas for two nights. The stay was fine overall, but there were quite a few frustrations. The contact number they gave us barely replied to texts, and no one ever picked up when we tried calling. The WiFi in the room was basically unusable—so slow that I couldn’t even take a call. The shower has an open design, which meant water flooded half the bathroom every time. The casita itself is a decent size with space for a dining area and a bedroom, but the bed is designed to be lifted up to the ceiling, which felt completely unnecessary. That said, the view was stunning—facing the sunrise, and waking up to it was definitely the highlight of the stay. They provide a half bottle of wine as a w
Casitas are situated to showcase the magnificent view of the vineyard and the mountains. We stayed for 3 days and according to their note they will come in the afternoon of the 2nd day to replenish our breakfast supply. It didn’t happen. Every casita is provided with 2 bottles of water since the tap water has a well water taste. We had to walk from the last casita to the restaurant to refill the bottles and the lady won’t give us at least an extra bottle when we asked (the restaurant is not open 24/7). I wish there’s a refilling station accessible close to the casitas.
Wow, what a wonderful experience here at Los Milics. The Casitas are super cool and include awesome views of the vineyards and the restaurant with its overly large patio, serves both delicious wines and food. This is going to be a Southern Arizona hit...if it is not already! A must see and stay while visiting the wine country. Several other vineyards/tasting rooms nearby.
This place as a winery, eatery, bar, wine bar and a wonderful place to stay is over the top. Greeted at check in by Marissa, she was a delightful person and a problem solver all on one. The facility is unique, the wines, foods and service all excellent. The guest casitas are comfy, private and all have awesome views. Very well appointed.||If this place had a health spa, they would just kill it!!!
