Have been here many times over the years and is still one of our favorite places to rv camp. Most of their sites have full rv hookups and are kept clean and mowed. With a dog we really like their enclosed rv sites, as well as offering privacy. The casini ranch store has prerty much anything you's need for camping at ok prices. The park is located on the russian river and offers seasonal kayak / float tube rentals as well as golfcart rentals.
Booked this trip Friday morning for two nights. Had a great time. Park was clean, organized, and great for kids. You can tell seasonal attractions are most amazing. General store had lots and lots to offer, even propane station and laundry. We will be back soon. Lots of sites and types to choose from big and small.
My wife, our dog and I returned to camp at Casini for our yearly Northern California Coast camping trip. Our experience with the location is unbeatable, camping right on the Russian River with a beautiful mountain view, the wildlife and deer running through the campground, clean restrooms if you don't have an RV. Pretty hard to beat this place. It is definitely our number one campground of choice. The value that you get with all this is affordable for a week long stay.
For $180+ a night for spot F10, which is one of the top tier sites with it's own grill and gazebo, I was not impressed. Day 1, a Thursday, was fantastic. We woke up on Friday with an animal poo on our paved gazebo area. I assumed it was from a cat or raccoon because we had zero neighbors. Friday comes, and the heathens start rolling in with their 5th wheels and toy haulers. The kid activity picked up as the kids arrived and got on their 4 wheelers and go cart type, noisy machines. Our neighbors pulled in to what I assume is F11. It's a spot with hookups but not the premium gazebo. They had 3 dogs running loose and they set up their tent, picnic table, and trailer basically right on top of us. Why does a premium spot have a shared driveway with a basic site? Friday night was loud and the
Spent a late Friday afternoon at Bodega so decided to look for an RV park and found this online. Placed our reservation, made our site decision and paid with credit card. After dinner in Bodega Bay we arrived (6:16pm) at the completely dark campground. No information or receipt or any acknowledgment of our reservation. Called the phone number for after hours help on the exterior 'guard house' wall. We could hear the phone ring in the empty building!! What a joke! I had cell service so I checked my credit card account. Ya, they got their money. We picked a random empty spot and spent the night. SCREW THEM AND THEIR LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. You couldn't pay us to stay at this place again.
