Took a weekend trip with my brother to visit my daughter at IU. Located 7 minutes from campus. The price was incredible. Bed/pillows were comfortable. Our room was clean and the shower had great flow. Breakfast was basic, but FREE: yogurt, oatmeal, bananas, juice, cereal, milk, bagels, toast, pasties. For the price, this place is terrific. Relaxed vibe, polite staff. Half the price of Hampton/Holiday Inn Express etc with comparable accommodations. If eggs and a waffle maker are worth the $60+ delta... stay elsewhere. Otherwise, stay here. Enjoyed our stay, will be back.

FYI they require a $250 deposit/hold. It will be released when the housekeeper decides you have not smoked in the room. I gotta say my room smelled as if someone was definitely smoking somewhere in the building and I could smell it in my room. The deposit is still pending on my card two days after my stay which is concerning. Otherwise room was decent but worn. Man that runs the attached bar is super nice and friendly. Enjoyed chatting with him while waiting on my pizza.

We were pleasantly surprised! First of all, the front desk clerk was very friendly and courteous. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious. The beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the courtyard. The flowers and landscaping were just beautiful. Will definitely stay here again.

Positive: The people Negative: They mostly controlled everything they could control for an older hotel except the landscaping what is up with that?

Run away! Front desk staff are NOT TRAINED and are more interested in themselves than you. Original stay was going to be 5 nights, upon check-in I told the front desk staff that I would likely only be staying 3 nights and asked if it was OK to let them know the next day. They said "YES, no problem". I told them the next day I was only staying 3 nights and they said "OK" but was told that I would have to pay for all 5 nights and would get a "credit" for 2 nights for future use. I told them that didn't seem fair, as I was letting them know far in advance. I asked to speak to management but was not able to do so, as "management was not available". The same person then said that I should have just been switched to single night stays for the first 3 nights and not be charg
