Casa de los Desperados

In a word, spectacular. It was a last-minute decision to stay here, for one night on a Saturday. We were so lucky this happened to us! Wayne and Michael are amazing hosts, and chefs. The rooms are comfortable and artsy and the whole property is welcoming. We cannot wait to go back!

My friends and I stayed at the Casa and it was the best experience ever. Michael and Wayne are incredible hosts who have thought of everything. The food is absolutely delicious, they gave us great recommendations for restaurants and places to explore, and they're so kind and sweet. In an age of impersonal, anonymous traveling, Michael and Wayne provide an experience with genuine human connection that is truly revitalizing.

We stayed at the Casa with four other family members. What a terrific experience! The location was ideal for us - out in the desert with roadrunners, but just a short drive to Palm Springs. Whitewater Preserve is just a few minutes up the road. |Wayne and Michael are ideal hosts - charming, friendly, and informative. They were quick with recommendations for restaurant and local attractions.||The house is very comfortable and spacious. A real high point is the superb food. A delicious breakfast is served every morning. Best of all, a gourmet dinner can be arranged twice a week. Wayne is a professional chef, and the dinners (with wine!) were a genuine treat. ||I recommend Casa de Los Desperados without reservations p!

My husband and I enjoyed a quiet 3 days at Casa de los Desperados. Our hosts, Wayne and Michael, were very welcoming, our room was spacious, and the bed was comfortable. This B&B has many amenities including a hot tub, homey sitting room with a generous library, and a star-gazing bed out in the yard. Because this lodge is some miles outside of Palm Springs, one can actually see the stars at night without ambient light. |However, the highlight for me was Wayne's gourmet cooking. In addition to the included breakfasts, we arranged for a dinner our first night there. It was delicious chicken piccata, included wine, and was topped off with New York cheesecake with caramel sauce.
