Casa Bella Inn Huntington Park

I personally liked it due to its location i.e. close to downtown LA, and other areas of personal interest. Also, the rates were reasonable compared to other hotels. Only downside is it can be a bit too noisy i.e. fire trucks, police cars, and motorists. Carpets need a good cleaning. Toilet papers and extra "large" towels would be good to have. We requested a microwave and fridge the day we arrived but never got them even to the day we left!! Free parking was good and spaces were always available. Cable TV was alright but beds need to be fixed i.e. springs. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but some improvements could really lift the place higher than its status quo. Nevertheless, I'll go back there in future trips unless rates increase then.

No hot water in rooms. You have to leave it on for like 15 min to get luke warm water and they told us they were having hot water problems after we paid. I asked for an extra blanket but its up to the maids and they were very rude. The maids said to go tot he front desk and the front desk said ask the maids. They said I should've asked for it when we got the room but we got the room at night when the maids aren't here. I just dont understand how hard it is to give me one extra blanket? We are staying two days and we cant even get a refund bc its not fully refundable. Luke warm water. Horrible service. I've gotten better hotels for the same price. I liked our stay here for the holidays. Has a lot of convenience stores nearby and food places. The rooms could be a little more clean though. But we liked it!

Front desk guy(clerk) did not mention to me that it was a non smoking room. As soon as I got into the lobby he quickly grabbed the remote control and the room key and had me sign a form that I didn't get a chance to read because he was in a hurry for no reason. He took less than 5 minutes to check me in and didn't speak to me at all about any policies what so ever! The deposit I left was $50 and at check out, there was another clerk,very rude and had an attitude with everyone. She went upstairs and checked the room I was in and came back and said she couldn't give me back my deposit because there was 1 cigarette bud inside a cup and would not return my deposit.
