Carolina Inn

Have heard before this motel had bed bugs. Rolled the dice stayed the night anyways... Huge mistake. Upon examination of our bed linens, we found the linens filthy beneath the comforter, and you guessed it, bed bugs. Room 5 in particular. Pictures provided.

Terrible doesn't even begin to describe this place. First room had very wet carpet and smelled really bad. Requested another and the 2nd room also had wet carpet along with flies on the ceiling and spiders. Requested a refund and he said NO REFUND and proceeded to show us another room. I was traveling with my son and needed 2 beds - requested at check in. The 3rd room only had 1 king bed. He then attempted to show me the 4th room. There was outside dirt and debris all over the carpet. NO WAY were we going to stay in there. The owner still refused a refund. We went on down the road and found another hotel for the night. He did charge me and I have now had to file a dispute with my CC company. Don't know how somebody can charge you for something that is unacceptable and unhealthy but he did

My stay was okay except the disrespect from the man at desk he is rude and disrespectful the wife is very respectful she is quiet and does her job but the husband asked too many personal questions speaks rudely and insulting of others kicks you our for no reason makes you leave because you know people kicks you out because his wife asks you to pick her up grocery if your going to store. He ask you to do a task and doesn't compensate you like he should kicks you out for being minutes late foe paying has no wifi nor phone service will not except coin Change as payment changes rates on his own. The room was filthy. The toilet leaked. The linens were nasty. There was no ice machine. The owner was gracious enough to give use a bucket of ice from her freezer. However, it appeared she had chipped it off of the inside of her freezer. There were pubic hairs in the bathtub and on the sink. The only reason that we spent a portion of the night there was because it was the middle of the night and a holiday weekend and not a room for a hundred miles. That should have been our first clue. This place should be shut down.
