Great place if you are interested in making a B rate horror movie or low budget hip hop video. It appeared the the room was cleaned and bedsheets changed, about five weeks prior. I particularly liked the two spent .380 cal shell casings I found on the floor.
This was the only motel we found in this small town. It looked to be a typical red dot inn. The furniture was very worn and outdated. The linens were good. The service at the check in was fine, it was just a few minutes to sign in, pay and get a key. There was no mention of a breakfast but there was a Hardee's and a McDonalds just down the street. Definately a no frills motel but was better than sleeping in the vehicle. We were here on a week night , all was quiet and calm.
This is an old motel that has gone down hill quite a bit since my last stay aprox 5 years ago. I would not recommend this hotel for family such as with wife and kids, but if you're not picky or fussy it is ok for an overnight work trip if you are okay with stained linens and worn furniture.||The owners were freindly , We had no problems, and it is the only motel in this town, but the rooms are in bad need of some updates.
Rooms are disgusting. Phones do not work I think you may have to pay to use them, only one plug works in the whole room. Owner was banging on the door at 9 am wanting to know if you are checking out. Owners are also very rude and don't speak English well. I would keep on driving even if its another 30 miles.
I struggled on the rating for this Inn. This would be average (3 stars) if not comparing it with non-small town lodging. Having spent many a night in small town lodging, I knew the room would be cramped, the bathroom very small, and the door to the room would probably have something wrong with it. I was not disappointed; all the items mentioned were true. The interior design was a hodge-podge of colors that seemed to "slap the eyes into submission". In spite of all the negatives I've mentioned, when you are in a small town and it is the only lodging in town, you become grateful for the Inn. I would not hesitate to stay here agin if I found myself in the small town. It's not worth driving 40 miles to stay at a named hotel chain. For what it's worth, I did not observe any wildlife running ab
