Carmel Country Inn

We have stayed at Carmel Country Inn at least 5 times over the past few years. Amy and her staff are wonderful. They are so friendly and provide a great environment. We bring our dog along and he loves it there too. They really do cater to pets and their owners. The rooms are very clean and comfortable; we get the King Suite with the fireplace in the living room. There is a nice variety of food for breakfast each morning and snacks in the afternoon (plus treats for the dogs). The location is quiet but only a few blocks from the center of town. We look forward to our next visit to Carmel and the Carmel Country Inn.

This little hotel is a lovely place. Very quaint and homelike feeling. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's walking distance to everything in town without being right in the middle. I had the Tree House room and it was very nice. I would stay here again.

What a charming, quaint gem in the heart of Carmel. My husband and I stayed two nights and it was a perfect spot. Our room was spacious and had a lovely fireplace which made it all the more cozy. When we arrived we were warmly greeted and offered cookies and snacks. The helpful and thoughtful service continued through our stay. When we wanted to head to the beach, we were provided with beach towels and directions. When we wanted restaurant reservations, they were very helpful. The rooms were kept spotless and we both appreciated that the noise levels were kept to a minimum, especially after 9 p.m. We didn't bring our doggie with us but loved seeing all the four legged friends on the property. Super lovely, great place, wonderful people and perfect location. Go!

Professional and friendly staff, superb location, dog friendly (it is Carmel lol) and spa tub with fireplace. This place has it all. Only reason it dropped to 4 stars are the shared walls. We could hear normal conversations next door through the bedroom wall. Location is in a quiet residential area near downtown. Tesla owners: there is a 50 amp plug available to charge but you will need to bring your plug and portable charger/cable. If you don’t have the correct plug don’t try to jury rig it.

This is a great place whether you have a pet or not. We had a little snorting room and fireplace and a bedroom with a king and double bed and a large bathroom. Just like a little house. Breakfast is included. Baked goods, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, quiche, coffee and tea and juice. Afternoon snacks too. Very clean and well tended. No reason to think a dog had been in our room. Patio options for eating too. Definitely recommend.
