Carefree Cove Campground & Cabins

I have stayed here until we were able to get into a rental. It has a quiet and calm atmosphere. They are very family friendly and on some weekends they have fun games and cook outs for everyone to enjoy. The owner is very friendly and can usually be found at the cook outs they have. I will be recommending this place to everyone i met. They allow dog and cats but they need to be on leashes when out of your camper or tent. They have full hook ups and even a washer and dryer. Coin operated, they have a very nice bathhouse with showers. 10/10 will be recommending to others.

Very quaint space and lake Manistee is right across the road. Really convenient with gas station/market across the street as well

First time going there was highly recommended by the director and co-owner of this camp. They have a little bit of everything there from Pizza to Burgers to every type of liquor and wine you could ever want. Food Michigan Lottery and whatnot wonderful people stop and say hello continue to hit that review continue to subscribe and like and hey thank you very much for reading my little blah blah blah.

Great place to go camping or live short term. Friendly people & staff. Cornhole are and band stage is really cool! Can't wait to see the live music again next spring/summer!

Alex, the owner was a very accommodating person for two old hikers. Maintenance of facilities could be improved..
