Me and my son had an incredible time at Capital Mountain for the New Life Men’s Advance. The place was beautiful—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and packed with things to do. From archery to s’mores by the fire, everything felt intentional and full of good energy. The cabins were cozy with hot showers and great water pressure, and the food was top-notch. What stood out most was the heart of the hosts, they genuinely cared and went above and beyond for everyone. If you’re looking for a spot to bring your family, church group, or just get away to reset your spirit, this is the place. Grateful for the experience.

We had a great event with our mens group. The property has plenty of room to soar out while so being small enough to feel intimate and get to know people. The meals were all good food and they made it easy for everyone to get in and out. They were focused on us getting what we need and being served well. We will be back and it looks like we have more groups from our church coming.

This was a great location for our Church and in particular our recent men's Fall retreat with 70+ in attendance. The facilities were clean and usable and the quality of food well received. I can imagine groups of under 100 men, women, youth, maybe even a group of 20-30 couples enjoying thing facilities while holding a conference, meetings, worship services, etc. Be prepared for cool/cold weather lots-and-lots of walking around and up-and-down the mountainside facilities. I did not visit them all, but cabin #10 had electricity, hot water and apartments 'A' and 'B' each with bunks for four (4) folks and a bathroom with sink in the room and an adjoining toilet and shower room. Our toilet got clogged in the evening and was quickly fixed before bedtime. GPS and any wireless are very limite

This was a good connection for church that used the facilities for a two day retreat for over 100+ people. I believe owner mentioned usually not having a big group in the winter. I really thought I was going to be cold the whole time but the chapel area with all the people and the heater on for awhile got too cozy...this was everyone's first time. We did advice all to bring good walking shoes since it is a good distance to walk to dinning commona and use stairs to get to the cabins. I was happy that there was lighting around cabins. Some cabins have a full bathroom. Those who do not would use the stalls that were in the bottom. For a few people it was a bit difficulty to follow GPS at night time. Signal gets cut off once on the site. There's at times some spotty signal. Overall all establ

Had a great time with 77 men for a retreat. Enjoyed the seclusion. Hosts were great to work with.
