Customer Reviews
Stayed here one night in September 2025. The bathrooms were utterly disgusting. Unflushed and full of waste in one, floors covered in trash in the other. Only one shower curtain on the showers. No lock on the one working restroom. Grounds were clean and tent site was fine. Young man working the office couldn’t be bothered with whether we were there or not, but he was nice enough. Great location in the bay and nice walk to bay across the street, but the bathrooms were enough to keep me from leaving a good review…especially since they were that way the ENTIRE visit.
Very nice place. Had a cabin for a night. All are 1 queen with seperate bunkroom and bathroom, I believe. I thought very affordable at $130 a night (in August). Beautiful area, but very humid and 15-30 degrees cooler than Seattle depending on time of day. Oh, also, there is a recreational pass you have to purchase in order to walk the beaches as well as access certain parts of the reservation. Only $20 and good all year, so visit in January and go back to visit a lot so you can really get your dollars worth.
We only stayed here for one night, sadly, but it was AWESOME! The cabins are BRAND NEW, super clean, and there is even a bunk-bed room in the back! The bed was very comfortable and there was lots of hot water and great shower pressure. We had cabin-1, which faced the quiet Neah Bay cove, and the setting sun! The cabin even had a high-tech keypad entry, which was convenient, after a day of exploring Olympic NP and the hour drive up to this place, we got there after hours, and needed only our keypad number. There were several restaurants across the street...everything was within walking distance: the general store, the restaurants, the Post Office (to mail your post cards and get more stamps!). Neah Bay is a quiet, Makah Reservation town, so you do need to purchase a $10 pass, which is good
Both men’s and women’s bathrooms were disguising and dirty. No toilet paper and paper towels. Shower curtains were missing from both men’s and women’s showers. Men’s bathroom was missing 1 or 2 shower heads. We reached out to the people running the place after 2 days of no accessories in the restrooms and nothing changed. Garbages were full. We stayed a total of 8 days and nothing was fixed the whole time.
Not many choices for camping in Neah Bay Area. Booked this campground since it was the only one we could make reservation with ahead of time. Campground is not well maintained. The bathrooms/showers were nice & heated, but it wasn't cleaned or stocked the entire time we stayed there and got fairly dirty. The camping sites were extremely tight with the next sites utilities right in our awning area. Hobuck Beach Resort has 10 nice hookup sites right on the beach, but they are non-reservable.
