This was such a fantastic place to find. It was free when I visited, which is becoming less common, even in the west. Thank you Navajo Nation! Absolutely awe-inspiring and breathtaking! I was the only camper there part of the time and I got a awesome spot that overlooked the canyon. The vault toilet was behind me, which was handy! You pick your spot which is great. This is a dry campground though it’s super clean and has vault toilets, picnic tables, and grills (no fires when I was there). Highly recommend!
Closed during my visit, 12 "first come" sites including 3 reservable group sites. Vault toilets, no water. No campfires. Free.
Great campground. Spaces aren't to close and bathroom look new. Amazing views.
Free camping. A little past the Sunset view campground and this one doesn't have a water station but there was only one other person when I was here in late May.
Beautiful view. Quiet. My kind of place. Peace. Sandy drive, but good
