If you own a large travel trailer/motor home/ boat/side x side, etc., this is a great site. The access to the campsite and the surrounding lakes is easy and scenic. Plenty of room for folks to join you if you wish. The fish in Woods Canyon and Knoll were biting. Very dog friendly.
Okay campsite if you want to be close to the access road and don’t mind being away from the rim. But what’s the point? 🤷🏻♂️ Unless it’s the only site available or you dislike awesome views, I don’t see why you would choose it. I suppose if the rest of the road is washed out and you don’t have the vehicle clearance to drive further in this site would make sense.
