CampShore Camp Ground

The two owners, and their family were accommodating and amazing. They delivered ice and wood right to your site. Ice was based on the honor system, tin box next to the machine and pay as you go. All the amenities, huge clean pool, waterslides, horseshoes, darts, pavilion with a stage, huge industrial type fans, basketball. We were having a storm roll in and they showed us how to turn on all the amenities in the pavilion, including disco lights!!!. We were invited to attend anything that was happening in the park and left the pool open for us after regular scheduled closing. They gave information and advise on things to do in the area. As a family with 7 young children and one large tent, tent camping can be quite a challenge. However, CampShore provided us with a wonderful experience. Their huge flat grassy sites are perfect for large tents, the best we have seen in any campground. Our whole family loved the large swimming pool, including the fun water slide and splash area. The owner was a very kind and helpful host. We felt safe, had great fun, and enjoyed a fire using wood provided by the campground. We definitely will return if we are in the area again!

I don't know about the rooms my Aunt and Uncle lived in the house right in front of the pool and my best memories as a child is going there daily and had the best time. We just lost Uncle Ivan so all the memories are really raw but those were the best memories in my childhood

This campground has become our new home away from home...we have been camping down from here for the past several years, and we stopped by on our way home to see a great place hidden. Love, love the big trees, this is truly a place of relaxation. We have been there several times in the past few weeks and planning several more before the season ends. Everyone we have met, owners, managers, seasonals, and weekenders have been great and so welcoming. The pool is great for all ages, my boys love the water slide, and they have volleyball, basketball, playground, and also a boat ramp. The Snack Shack is great and very reasonable and great food, when I can feed my family of 5 for under $20 I'm loving it. Can't wait to go back this weekend.

My significant other stayed at this camp ground and he had a most amazing time. The people took such good care of him especially Tim. They gave him a prime camping spot and even made sure he had everything he needed. This was one of his first camping trips and they made it a huge success! He can’t wait to go back and maybe in the future I will even join him.
