Camping 109

This is a great RV park, nice and quiet you can sit outside have coffee and read. Lake is just beautiful and the area around is very quiet but that was ok with us. We would have liked to have to yard mowed before we came and maybe down the road you might consider that for future guests. Wishing the best for the owner with his health issues

Pat & Rose are the sweetest people you will ever meet! The amenities are wonderful, a fun take a book/leave a book/DVD, pool table, mini kitchen, showers...etc. The dogs were welcome (clean up waste expected of course and thankful for that!) The sites are pretty level. Pat works hard to keep everything tip-top! It is close to the Big Stone boat ramp, too. It may not be on the water, but it offers a fun, good-priced get away!

Our trip to South Dakota was made extra nice by our stay at the 109 Campground in Big Stone SD. Patrick and Rose made us feel so at home and welcome. They even let us come in a day early with only 2 hour notice. The park is quiet and very well manicured. Each site had full hookups. There is a laundry room, and shower room. We had our two dogs with us and there was ample places to walk them. It was so relaxing to just sit and listen to the birds chirp away. One morning we walked down to the lake and saw a mom and dad Canadian geese with their 5 little babies going to the water. What a site! We are planning another trip to SD and believe me we will be staying at the 109 Campground, and this time it will be for a longer stay than just 4 days!! Thanks Patrick and Rose for a wonder

My family stayed at this park for a month and it’s absolutely beautiful! There is a shop on sight for things like toiletries, ice cream, and pizza. They have a swing set for the kids and a pool table for the adults. It’s got close lake access. And it very well maintained. I would absolutely recommend this park to anyone! The owner Pat is wonderful, he ensures that each site has a picnic table and a fire place. Five stars for sure!

Nice, quiet and good for a stop-over. Friendly owner gave us a large end spot. Full hook-ups are great, because there's only one shower in the shower house. Great for fishermen looking for a convenient location near the boat ramp. Limited amenities.
