Camp Wicosuta: Best New Hampshire Summer Camp for Girls

Wico is an incredible camp - it’s a special experience with so many activities & unique traditions. The directors and entire staff are wonderful. My girls never ever want to leave camp and count the days all winter until it starts again. each summer and they have made everlasting friendships and memories. We feel so lucky to have chosen Wico for our girls.

Wico has been our daughter’s home away from home since 2019. We have seen our children grow in so many amazing ways. We are beyond grateful for Corey, Justin and Carly for providing a place where our girls can just be kids! And where we can fully take a breath knowing they are in the best of hands. Countdown for the next summer immediately begins as soon as they arrive back home!

Sending my two daughters to Wicosuta is one the best decision my husband and I have made as parents. At age 8 & 10 we knew they were ready for some new challenges and independence and Wico was the perfect sleep away camp experience. 1) the Wico team is incredibly communicative and did a fantastic job prepping us over a series of months around what to expect, how to prepare and manage the inevitable homesickness stage and answered all my questions and in most cases proactive addressed them! 2) the wide range of activities and location can't be beat! and 3) what really got me as a mom is the focus on the three C's - confidence, competence and community. Camp Wicosuta is clearly the best New Hampshire overnight camp for girls! My daughter will be entering her final (Totem) summer and is already dreading the end of camp. Wico is her happy place, where she can be herself without the pressure of school and has made so many great friends. Wico forever!

This was my daughter's first experience at a sleepaway summer camp. She was both excited and nervous and from what I heard, she was homesick for the first few days/nights. However, once she came back home, she couldn't stop talking about Wico and was looking forward to her next summer. I went with my daughter prior to her session to drop off her bags and was very impressed by the facilities, personnel, philosophy, and activities.
