Camp Wakonda

Attended camp Wakonda camp meetings several times with my daughter and granddaughter. Loved it all. Beautiful pine trees and lake; nice cabins, delicious vegetarian lunches, and wonderful Worship services. I loved hearing the musical instruments and especially the trumpets! Loved the sermons and the singing. We stayed close by at the Pioneer Lodge, not in the cabins, but we got nice glimpses into friends’ cabins and camp grounds, and it was all quite charming! Also, we could buy our delicious veggie “meats” and other tasty, nutritious foods - and books, on Friday, before Sabbath, and go home highly satisfied with our jaunt- every time!

I love coming here. Such a great place to experience nature and people who are growing with Jesus.

It was a great experience to be there at camp Wakonda! I enjoyed my 3 days of vacation as nothing else. Great air and stars! Definitely will visit next year!
