Camp Tuffit

Great family atmosphere and gorgeous views. Only issue is they do have swimmers itch. It bothers some people more than others. I would like to see them have a hose for people to wash off with after swimming. Otherwise a great place to spend time with family and friends and meet new people. Perch are usually very easy to catch but we're not this year in July of 2025 water levels are a little low. Thanks Sam and family! It was a good couple of days.

⭐☆☆☆☆ “A Generational Disappointment — Finally Saying What We’ve All Thought”||After decaded — yes, decades — of returning to Camp Tuffet out of loyalty to a four-generation family tradition, I’m finally writing the review I’ve wanted to write for over a decade. Honestly? It’s a bit therapeutic.||Let’s start with the few positives. You can book your cabin a year in advance (which helps when planning an annual pilgrimage to mediocrity), and the outdoor trash cans are emptied daily — though this is done by staff who manage to offer all the warmth and hospitality of a DMV clerk on their worst day. That’s where the one star comes from. You’re welcome.||Now for the reality:||The cabins. Picture “rustic” — then lower your expectations. The cabins appear untouched since they were originally built

Our first time ever going there and it was amazing. The staff is beyond incredible. The cabin we stayed in was absolutely wonderful and had a view of the lake. Fishing was spectacular. We will be back in the future we never wanted to leave. Thank you for such an unforgettable experience.

Great place to go with the family. A lot of nice people around there. The lake is beautiful and not super populated so it's a lot of fun to be out there. It's pretty much a lake to yourself. Only complaint would be the cabins are getting a little run down. But a little sprucing up and the place would be perfect.

What a great place for the kids and adults. Every year at the same time we meet for a week, family's their friends and the growing children. Oh what a great time. The kids see their friends from last year, all a year older.|WE first brought food to cook, stopped that, the restaurant provides great food for all. Coffee in the morning with something to eat. Even for the kids. Good food in the afternoon. The store had everything you need for this Tiffit camp out. Clean restrooms, a place to shower. Good swimming. Great fishing.|Those that give this place a negative are just spoiled city slickers, please do not come back. If you did not like this place then it is not for you, do not bother coming back.
