Our troop camped here on Friday, February 20 - Sunday, February 22, 2026. A great little camp right across the Wisconsin border, only about 45 minutes from home. We had access to their remarkable Pioneering trailer and we spent the whole Saturday afternoon making knots and ropes and shelters with our skills. We stayed in Miller Cabin which is a great facility with a full blown kitchen, several bunk beds and electricity and heat. We had an absolute blast and we look forward to coming back. Grew up coming here, excellent campground. Some of the best capture the flag games I’ve ever played. Great hiking too.
What a great place for a scout! The Miller Cabin, one of the newer cabins is where our troop got to stay and it kept the boys warm during an otherwise cold weekend. The kitchen and toilets are big and clean too.
We went for Cub Scouts, and it's definitely a nice campground to go to
excellent facilities getting better all the time. we're fortunate that the NEIC has this property. it's just a little loud with all the racecars. lol!
