I love going to and seeing the Civil War reenactment they have here every year. One year I was able to go to the dance kind of jig celebration they had as well. It was nice.
Didn't see much of it except a building, a historical marker, a fence with an open gate and a historical montage showing pictures and descriptions of the events surrounding the surrender of various divisions of the Confederate army. Very imformative.
Beautiful area. Crystal clear water. Fun trails, a bit dangerous but loved the experience. Quiet and just beautiful to be there. Can't wait to come back.
Best scout camp ever. As a former eagle scout, I really enjoyed stay here.
