Camp Pet-O-Se-Ga

Beautiful campground, alot of biking, multiple playgrounds and bath houses were clean and even a newer one was towards the back. Only downfall was how hot it was and that the lake had super bad swimmers itch that instantly made the kids react and then have a miserable time. The river didnt contain it but it was to cold so only could really jump in and out of the shallow stream. We would go again maybe in a few years if we could use the beach area more. They did allow us to go purchase a sprinkler so kids could cool off at the sites. Fishing pier ended up being a big hit for kids.

Beautiful, clean campground a bit off the main highway but definitely worth the drive. We arrived after business hours and couldn’t get through phone numbers so we just found a spot and parked. We only stayed overnight. Hope to return some day soon.

Always love taking my family to Camp Petosega. Sometimes we use our camper and sometimes we get a cabin. Most recently we took the camper to the Halloween event 2nd weekend of October. Always easy to back it into the sites and alot have hookups for water and electricity. They also have bathrooms and showers down by the park. The kids love the park and Always hang out there with the other kids. The road around the campground is paved so the kids Always get to ride their bikes and scooters which they love. They sell ice, fire wood and other stuff including ice cream and Popsicles up front at the office. It also has a disc golf course if you like discing like I do you will love the course. Hope this helps someone decide to give Camp Petosega a try, you will not regret your decision!

Great place to camp and quiet location but staff likes to clean the bathrooms right when everyone wakes up then refuses to let people in while they clean. My wife waited 40 minutes before the guy finished and let her in. Cleaning the bathrooms should happen at night or much earlier in the morning (before 7) not everyone has the luxury to use the bathroom in a camper. Staff should break to let people use restrooms after a nights sleep.

Nice campground with good amenities. Helpful staff too. I didn’t see the inside of the cabins but the outside looked new and good quality. Great location too for wineries.
