Camp Namekagon

First time at this campground and probably won’t be the last! Sites are very spacious, they have cabins for rent, also a large and expanding seasonal site toward the back away from nightly campers. A big red barn on site which houses their bar/restaurant. We had the Friday night fish fry which was tasty. We thought it was a bit spendy for the amount of food we got however we enjoyed it. next-door to the barn there is alittle bit of a gift shop. This is where they have the tubing and kayak rental business. For a fee they transported our kayaks and picked us up at the end. They were very efficient and very prompt with their drop off and pick up times. Very friendly and helpful. A very nice small quaint campground. Check in was easy along with grounds map and hooking up. Sites seemed spacious and majority were filled. Nice place to bring your pets. They offer tube and kayak/canoe rentals to go on the river however we decided to spend majority of the days in hayward. Very quick 10 minute ride to town. They did have a nice bar/restaurant but we didnt frequent besides check in. Also have a bath house. All in all very nice and peaceful. We will be back for sure.

The campground is very nice. There is NO WiFi here at all. We used our hotspot. Found some really good places to eat in the area and never went to the Thurs or Friday bar they have at the camp. If you get a chance go to Pine Ridge for a Friday or Sunday Fish Fry it was amazing and get there early. i know this campground has a fish fry on Friday nights but did not try it. All is all good campground - thanks

Our favorite fish fry ! Love the owners and the waitress. This is the best kept secret in my opinion.

Wonderful place to camp. It is quiet, clean, provides water, electric and sewer hook ups. The bathrooms are clean. The best part is there is a restaurant with great food!
