Attended 2 years in row back in my younger days. I loved all the activities and experiences I had as child. Got my orange card and boating license while I attended. I believe I still have a full clay pigeon I got to keep for my proficiency shoot on the skeet range.
My Daughter loved Camp Earl and begs to go back next year. The staff was very kind and understanding about us needing to pick her up Friday morning.
If there were ever one thing I done in my life that impacted my life in a positive way it was camp Earl Wallace. I attended approximately 2001-2002, 2 years in a row. I came from a very poor, and very rough childhood. I can’t speak in certainty as I was a child. But there was angels that ensured that I was able to partake in the camp. It set me on the path of becoming a passionate lifelong outdoorsman, that led me from the Alaskan wilderness to the Florida Everglades. Now I am back in Central Kentucky where I recently watched my first child born, Her name is Ashlin Fawn. This program taught me lifelong lessons, and I will never forget the memories and the lifelong friends made. Thanks KYDFWR and staff. Also special thanks to Gary from Pulaski county. I don’t remember his name, as it’s be
First of all they did a great job at this camp but their need to have some changes. First the people there look like they didn’t like their job. Next they need to reconstruct the bathrooms and the bunks like the showers need to not have windows and be more cleaner. The food suck also it kinda tastes like dog food and the milk was a day from expired. But the rest of the camp is fun you get to play games swim and all sorts of stuff like boating and you could get your boating license if you are 11 and would be interested. Love and support, Levi Barnett😊😊😊
My child just came back and she loved it. The counselors were so amazing, and the activities were too! The food was great, and every thing was great. Even as I write this, she is still thinking about it and wishes she could go back but it is her last year to do so, unfortunately.
