Camp Dogwood Lodge

Very moldy and facility was not well kept. A lot of rust, mold, and ceiling was caving in. Downstairs was a nightmare, smell of mold was heavy. Only thing that was maintained was the kitchen items. Floors were not properly taken care of. Rat feces in cabinets and rat nest. Sofas and chairs were falling apart.

Although the location of the lodge is optimal, the facilities were more than just sub par. There was mold on the ceiling tiles in the sleeping quarters and cobwebs in every visible corner. None of the exterior doors lock which could pose a great threat if something were to happen. There is absolutely no way that the facilities are up to code, and it indefinitely poses a health threat.

The lodge was very big to accommodate lots of people BUT it was disgusting! The whole place smelled of mildew and mold was very visible in every area of the lodge. All of the furniture was falling apart and the floors/carpets looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in years. There were several entrances that did not lock and there were bugs and spiderwebs everywhere. Needs some serious repars before I would even consider coming back.

We go with youth group. it fun. till we see mold, rat poop,dead bug, and no doors lock still fun just gross and not well kept.

Very disgusting I do not recommend. Mold everywhere it was not up to date there was also only one photo up of the place the only place that looked up to date was the kitchen. Ceiling was caving on over where people lay their heads. The bed were broken and no railings so easy access to falling as well as rust under the top bunk. Very unhygienic.
