Our experience at Camp Deer Trails was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the cabins felt absolutely perfect—warm, inviting, and ideal for an outdoorsy bride and groom like us. Throughout the weekend, our family and friends couldn’t stop complimenting the beautiful accommodations and the peaceful atmosphere of the grounds. It meant the world to us to offer our guests a place that was not only convenient, but truly stunning in every possible way. By the end of the weekend, every single person had become a lifelong fan of Camp Deer Trails, and they still talk about its beauty and tranquility to this day. We got married here last weekend and it was absolutely phenomenal! Such a beautiful location and everything we were looking for in a venue! Courtney is awesome and super helpful! The cabins were so nice and clean. It was the perfect weekend, definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue or just looking for a nice and peaceful place to stay!

We had a fantastic experience hosting our wedding weekend at Camp Deer Trails! The staff was wonderful—always helpful, quick to answer questions, and great at problem-solving during setup. The cabins were perfect for our wedding party to stay together on site, and the facilities gave us lots of flexibility for our own decoration ideas. The grounds and amenities made it an amazing place for friends and family traveling from long distances to relax, play, and enjoy the whole weekend. Plus, there are plenty of Airbnb/VRBO options close by for extra lodging, which worked out really well. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot to celebrate. Highly recommend Camp Deer Trails for a wedding or any big gathering!

We had our wedding here on July 2025, and it was perfect. The owners are great to work with and respond to any questions you have fast . We had ours on the beach and they had set up the arch and racked the sand as well. The hall is and the tables are beautiful by themselves so we honestly didnt do a ton of decorations in fear it would take away that beauty. Most of our wedding guests (including ourselves) had rented cabins which were clean and cozy. So overall do we recommend this place to hold your wedding or special event? I can say 100% I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

I have been to Camp Deer Trails on multiple occasions, I have had a good time each time except for 1 Time... I am not one to leave reviews especially bad ones, But after seeing the lie that I quoted below I just had to. The owner of the property approached my family AFTER my sisters wedding in the most disrespectful and aggressive way any property owner has ever approached us, they say we responded with disrespect but all we could do after we were approached was ask the owner to please calm down/ Relax because at that point it did not feel safe and that is not an exaggeration, the owner came so hostile and mind you this was the FIRST interaction we had with him, there was no warning for the noise or anything before hand.
