Camp Dearborn

My family has been trying to get me to come out here forever and I finally was able to make it out for a night! We all had a blast and there is tons to do. This place is huge, lots to explore! They also had fireworks the night I went which was Friday July 5th 2024. For sure would definitely recommend this campground to those who love camping. I don't camp much myself, but like I said really did enjoy myself here. We had a pretty nice camping spot off to the side and since we took up 3 lots it kinda felt like our own personal getaway.

Facilities were very clean and user friendly. Beaches, ponds, bike paths and playgrounds were all really clean and fun for us and the kids to use. We were pleasantly surprised at just how gorgeous Camp Dearborn really was. Will definitely be going back again again...soon!

Family oriented camp ground with MANY ACTIVITIES and amenities for children of every age, adult as well! You'll NEVER hear your child say, "I'm bored" at the "D"! Fear not because grounds are continually patrolled by the finest officers of law & staff making it the safest place to be!!! It doesn't get any better than this, heaven on earth indeed!

A relaxing experience as long as you have good and respectful neighbors. Kind right next to each other and no clear visual of which lot is yours, so claim what you can. Bring wood with you. They sell wood, but it's 7 bucks for a small bundle. There are events that happen every day from square dancing to festivals.

Great place for a true family getaway. Very clean and well maintained place.
