Camp Blanton

Has awesome hiking trails, and is an excellent place to fish. I caught a 5 pound 18 inch bass here, so I recommend to come fish here at dusk. Other than that, as I said it has beautiful hiking trails, and a must do for anyone looking to hike or fish in the area!

This place is so freaking gorgeous and perfect for so many things! The lady that attends the place is so very kind and does an amazing job with upkeeping the place!!

I rented the mess hall for my bridal shower and everything was absolutely beautiful! Communication for booking was simple, and I had access to the mess hall and the kitchen for the majority of the day. I absolutely recommend Camp Blanton for any event.

Out in the woods, in the middle of nowhere, Boy Scout camp used for events now. Has cabins, mess hall, firepits, lake, etc..

Attended my niece's wedding in August. The venue was nice. I think the layout of the outdoor wedding area could have been setup better to conceal the bridal party from the guests. Because it is all open. You literally can see the bridesmaids and bride before they even come down the aisle. The rooms that the bridal party gets ready in, is not close to the actual area that the ceremony is performed. So it's not the most convenient. I think they need to consider changing the outdoor area to a different spot. Otherwise the reception hall was great. Very nice area with a large kitchen. It would be difficult to accommodate a really large group in the reception hall because of its size. It's more for a small wedding and/or not a lot of guests. The grounds of the camp are beautiful! I think it
