Camden West Inn

The workers there were nice. However, I wouldn't go back there personally. My partner and I killed about seven different bugs in our stay for the night. I literally had us keep the lights on while sleeping just in case we saw other bugs crawling on the ceiling. Despite that, we were grateful to find the place because they were the last place to book due to Hurrican Helene upstate at the time. We took the last room.

Feel like the price is too high considering the pool doesn't work

We have stayed here several years with no problems. Yes, it's an older hotel but the staff was always accomodating and friendly. I was severely disappointed this time. The rate of $59.99 was good for a king, but the bed couldn't have been one because we couldn't even turn over without bumping each other, plus the bed was so hard we both had backaches. Our first room key didn't work, but they did fix that. Breakfast that starts at 6:00 wasn't ready until 6:30, and there was no one in site at 6:00 that morning to even ask, I even had to unlock one door for a guest. I had to wait a while for someone to check us in since they were chasing kittens that had been dropped off by someone. In the room, one bedside light had no bulb while the shower fixture is too big plus it had a dirty, rust

Been here 3 years in a row working locally. Nice people...not too pricey. They are now remodeling and painting the rooms. They went up on price a little bit, but it is still very nice

Extremely nice owners. Clean rooms. Good housekeeping. Breakfast has great choices. Love the banana nut muffins for Sunday. Walking distance to multiple different restaurants and gas station without needing to drive.
