Cambria Hotel Manchester South Windsor

My stay at the Cambria Manchester South Windsor was excellent. The room was spotless, the furnishings were modern and comfortable, and the amenities were great - lots of clean, fluffy towels, lots of pillows, and a very comfortable mattress. The hotel is easy to find coming in from out of town and super close to shopping and restaurants. I dealt with the same representative, Mike, at the front desk both days I was there. He allowed me to check in early, made sure that I was ok with being on the first floor, and was consistently friendly and attentive. Mike contributed greatly to the overall quality of my experience. Because of the exceptional service adnd comfortable accommodations, I will definitely stay here the next time I'm in the area and I highly recommend it.

No room service. It would be nice if someone at some point in the day check on new arrivals to make sure they know where the light switches are, how to turn on shower, how to work blinds, answer any questions about the tv and where's the ice machine on the floor. It could be done by giving them a call in an appropriate time for them to settle in instead of having them make multiple calls. The large room was clean. The beds were comfortable to sleep on. The staff was helpful especially the two lovely lady bartenders in the evening. I think the customer shouldn't have to call housekeeping for fresh towels. They should be delivered fresh each day if customer is staying more than 1 day.

I love staying at the Cambria when I am in the Hartford area. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and the rooms are top notch. It is also nice that the hotel is located next to an outdoor shopping center that features numerous restaurants.

Nice looking hotel Appeared clean except for the outside trash pails that were overflowing. Pool was cold but gym was nice to workout in. Room AC worked well and was able to sufficiently cool the room which for me is so important There was a weird stain on my bed sheet. It looked like a beverage stain but certainly shouldn’t have been there. Others may have thought it could be a love stain. I certainly hope it wasn’t. I told the front desk and my sheets were changed within 20 minutes. Nothing was offered to me for this inconvenience. Some workers were NOT dressed professionally. The woman at the front desk who I told about the stain was in a sweatshirt hoodie and did NOT appear to be a hotel employee. A little professional dress goes a long way. As nice and new a hotel may be, what makes a hotel great is the service. This hotel is new, the rooms are nice, no carpet so things are easy to clean, they have a large lobby area and it was extremely busy the entire time we stayed. Hotel staff was supposed to do several things they didn't do upon check in as a group. There was no water throughout the hotel, nothing in the rooms, not even a vending machine to buy water. We were told we had to leave and go to a gas station. They had no extra pillows. We ordered food at the bar and waited 90 minutes for it and absolutely nothing. Asked for a Jack and coke and was given Jameson and told "its the same thing." We were shocked. Ultimately the hotel itself is nice and clean but as positive as that may be, the service sucked.
