Cambria Hotel El Centro - Imperial

This was my second stay here and it’s a nice place but I don’t understand the complete death like grip on coffee. I typically stay in hotels that offer at least continental breakfast and I can accept places that don’t. It would be nice if the restaurant offered breakfast service. It’s the in room coffee and lobby coffee situation that is unbelievable. I stayed 3 days and asked for coffee and supplies every day. First day I had to go get creamer which I was handed 2. Then I asked for housekeeping to bring coffee supplies and got none. Then went to the front desk again and was handed 2 coffee pods. The lobby coffee as I was leaving for the day had a sign charging $5.38 for coffee after only the first cup being complementary. When I got back for the third night and didn’t get any coffee sup

The hotel was nice, staff was kind. The room could have had better accommodations to place things out of your suitcase (only 3 tiny drawers). I did love the lights under the bed and the feeling of the room. The downfall is the breakfast items, out of 3 or 4 items to choose, I went with the breakfast burrito, thumbs down, I didn't even want to try lunch or dinner, so that took us out of the building and down the street.

Positive: Clean, and well taken care of. Negative: Stay was very standoffish and men at front desk worried more about cell phone...

It’s hard to find a decent hotel in the area. I prefer no carpet along with no smoking and a very clean place. This hotel was clean, had laminate flooring and restaurant that had pretty good food. The design of the hotel was modern but comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and clean. The bathrooms were spotless. Highly recommend this hotel! I’d give it a 9/10.

I just want to share a bit about our experience at this place. First time visiting the restaurant. I was not disappointed with the service that we got. The food was absolutely delicious and our waitress did an amazing job. The appetizer wings were super good, especially the cholula dry rub. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. The beef braised was super tender, mouth watering. Overall, it was a great experience.
