Calypso Cove RV Park

Is not as close to the beach as they claim. Bathrooms newly updated, but needles have been found from junkies. Beware when entering. I wish there were a playground for the kids, as they say it's "kid friendly" Office ladies will talk about guests business with others. Not professional, and everyone pays a different monthly rate.

We had a very nice 2-week stay here. We were warmly greeted by Mary and another lovely woman at the office. Quiet. Nice laundry facilities. Affordable propane. We would definitely stay here again.

The guy that runs the place is a nut who will hardly ever speak to any of the people staying there. We were told by the ladies who run the office that we had three days to clean the outside of our RV or we were going to have to leave. It needed to be washed anyway so we did it. We did notice that there were other RVs that were filthy and much older than ours. We were then sent a notice that we had to wash the top of our roof or we will be asked to leave the park for 3 days. We were then sent a notice that we had to clean underneath our awnings or we would be asked to leave the park in 3 days. We did that. After 11 months they decided to move us down into a ravine that was muddy and not level. We left 3 weeks later. One side of the park that is long-term is disgusting and has tents with hol

My husband and I spent a month at Calypso Cove and enjoyed our stay from our first call in to make reservations until we left. A big shout out to the friendly workers who made us feel welcome: Mary, Alice & Kim in the office and all the maintenance guys . Clean bathrooms & showers; propane onsite refill station, and quick and easy access to area beaches are part of the appeal of Calypso Cove!

I’ve lived here for a couple of years now, and it’s been great! Mary and Alice are wonderful—always kind and helpful. The community is quiet, dog-friendly, and well-maintained. Definitely recommend!
