Camping here is near primitive. They do have pit toilets throughout the park but one in campground. There is one water source and it gets shut down after Labor Day. Pads are black topped and short. Cost is $11.66 per day.
We enjoyed our visit here camping. There are no hookups at campsites but we had the place to ourselves and fishing is good at the lake. Very quiet and private. Seen deer, turkey, and a beaver while we were there. There were clean bathrooms at the campground and a water supply there that we were able to fill our water tank on our camper with. Local law enforcement came through to check on us and make sure we were okay, too, and was very nice. It was also convenient to the city of Burke and we were able to run to town for a few things we needed.
Very sweet place, I was around there. $11 per night, there is water, a toilet, trash. Very quiet, and beautiful. A little secret place.
This is a scenic campground. Well hidden off the beaten path. Super quiet area.
So quiet and serene.
