Burkburnett / Wichita Falls KOA Journey

I rented the small deluxe cabin, which was very comfortable and just what I needed! Had a coffee pot, microwave, refrigerator, and a comfy bed. A very quiet. I will definitely stay here again. I arrived after the office closed, but they were very responsive when I called and very welcoming!

This stay was my second time, but first time in the cabin. I arrived late but was still able to complete a late check in easily. The area that the campground is situated in is very safe and that was confirmed as a Sheriff was out patrolling after dark while I walked my dog. Plenty of amenities. The cabin was nice and had a TV as well. The only downside was the the electric heater did not work very well and I woke up cold. Additionally, the cabin could’ve been cleaned a bit better as there was visible dust and the AC had not been cleaned as there was mold visible through the vents. The ownership does a great job of keeping guests happy, but the cleaning crew could use a little improvement. Very safe area situated on the Oklahoma border. The set up of the cabin is nice To start the exterior bulb was out, making it practically impossible to even get into the cabin The floors in the cabin are absolutely disgusting!!! The bathroom is pasable if you don’t look too hard. There were 3 paper towels on the roll and no extra to be found. There were 2 live wasps in the cabin when we got here. Will NOT be staying here on our way back!!

My husband and I stayed in a two-person cabin, and it was perfect. I was impressed and grateful that our cabin was clean and felt homely. Thank you, KOA, for the 1st-time experience. Definitely coming back.

Good for a nite. I stayed a week. I wanted a gravel spot. So, always ask for the concrete pad! I wasnt level. And I was put next to two full timers one each side. He played music all nite. I told office. He drinks. He never slept. And then he kept trying to catch me outside to hit on me, wanting to come into my rig. But I got two trained protection dogs so that helped. He never picked up his dogs poo. And he didnt leash them or didnt the one. And they wanted to keep coming to my door. Poop in my side. My two would of hurt them badly and he didnt listen to that. Then the full timers had little kids. They let them flap all around all day long. One wanted so bad for me to play with him, and Im a older woman. Felt bad, but no. I wasnt a fan of that.
