BURGUNDY INN AND SUITES

Hotel is being remodeled. Rooms definitely need it. Everything is out of date and wore out. Room was clean and no bed bugs or other bugs. But beds are hard and pillows are to small but everything was clean. Shower was clean but the light in bathroom barely worked. NO SOAP in room and no wash cloth. Heater/ AC worked. TV is very small and remote batteries were dead. Holes in the wall and paint missing off the walls. The lobby is totally remodeled and looks great but the kitchen area isn't done. So that means no kitchen, no breakfast. Once the place gets done it should look great but until then I would avoid unless there's nothing available in the area.

I cannot say anything nice or bad about this hotel as I did not even get to check in. When I made my reservation I clicked on a king non-smoking room that was handicapped accessible. The day before our stay I called to make sure I would be getting thde room I reserved I was told that all of their handicapped rooms were occupied. Since I need a handicapped room I told them since there were non available that I would like to cancel my reservation and to refund my money. They told me that the reservation was non-refundable.

Grounds were not picked up. Our room was big but no shampoo. When asked for some, just given 2 more bottles of Conditioner. My husband showered then I did right behind him. His water was hot. I then had lukewarm water. Our sheets were terribly stained, it was gross. Slept on top sheet. Toilet moved around when sitting down. Breakfast was muffins, toast or cereal, nothing hot served. The staff member working was very friendly.

Positive: Basically, a place to sleep Negative: Our room was not clean. Still had trash in the trash can. The continental breakfast was a joke with only cereal and waffles plus the waffle batter was all the first morning. There was a coffee maker in the room, but no coffee. Ice maker didn't work either

Very disappointing experience. When I arrived, the hotel suddenly asked for a deposit, even though nothing about it was mentioned on Booking.com. The online price was $40 on Google, $65 on Booking, but at the reception they said $100 — which felt dishonest. The staff didn’t seem professional, and the whole place had a very strong, unpleasant smell. I honestly felt scammed and would not recommend this place to anyone.
