Bull Shoals White River State Park

Great park and great 1st experience here. Scenic, peaceful, abundant wildlife, fishing would be good if it weren't for the massive amount of boats all day long. I recommend using a guide that knows other places on the river besides the section from Gastons to the dam. The staff is very friendly and helpful, from the visitors center to the camp check in, to the marina/bait shop. Park is very well maintained, from the property maintenance to the bath houses. Very impressed with everything the park had to offer. A friendly warning to you anglers, some boaters/guides have a total disregard for fellow anglers, bank and wade anglers especially. These are a minority as most are very respectful of others. I give 4 stars because most of the camp sites are very cramped and packed tight with neighbor

The visitor's center is large and boasts amazing views of Bull Shoals Lake and the White River. The staff was very helpful with my passport book and my purchases.

Visitors center is quite big with plenty of information and exhibits especially about the fish in the area. The gift shop is well stocked with magnets, stickers, shirts and hoodies plus plenty of other locally made products. Viewing areas overlooking the dam is a great spot for scenic views. Restrooms available.

A life time of joy came from here, I felt like I was in Arkansas Smokey mountains.also it's a fisherman paradise. And if u are ever up there stop by beacon point in lake view great place to eat . The camps was great the bathrooms was great we will be back .. we got to see the caves

Really nice park with outstanding river spots. Really not a bad spot in the park. Very nice and clean. Will definitely camp there next time we are here.
