Ants everywhere. Broken lights. Laundry facilities are terrible dirty and covered in ants. Wall damage and carpet stains everywhere sour smelling water damage walls. The most disgusting dirty, damaged barracks I've seen in a hot minute. So many people hog washers so no one can do laundry.
The barracks isn't crazy good, it also isn't awful. But I definitely wish they were better at responding to work orders or informed people when they were going to fix something. Also the AC was broken for awhile.
This Barracks desperately needs to be demolished and replaced. Everything is broken and there's water damage everywhere. It smells like mold and the shape of it is ridiculous.
For a barracks it's alright, you have your own personal space which I really liked. However they take forever to fix things. I left a maintenance ticket and called about an issue, and has not been fixed yet. It's been about 3 weeks now, coming up to 4
Really good food and service. Also, they know there will be a line so couches are provided in the head to wait on. My NJROTC unit had a trip up to Norfolk and the barracks and meals were provided for us.
