Buffalo Lodge

These people are super kind. All kinds of truckers stuck there due to the horrible Wyoming wind and they made homemade Spaghetti for everyone. I will stay here anytime and support these kind of folks forever!

Driving from MT to TX, tried to rent a room in Casper - the rates were outrageously high. Looking at the Map, Ok, I can drive another hour or so to Chugwater to get a room at a decent rate. Although I didn't stay here at the Lodge I did eat in the Grill. It is an old place but well kept. The menu had a variety as usual they even had live entertainment. The waitress was the jewel. She was kind, patient, helpful and intuitive. She was attentive and readily available to tend my every need. Remember me??? Tiffany you are a wonderful waitress and should be teaching the art of being one. I hope you remember me, Cause I'll be back.

We stayed here for the chili cookoff got price gouged. Rooms were fine, going to drive 30 minutes north for a reasonably priced room next time.

We stayed at Buffalo Lodge while traveling and were very pleased with our stay. We were looking for a place with a reasonable rate in comparison to nearby Cheyenne and were not disappointed with this find. We arrived later in the evening, tired, and road worn. The owner/manager was so kind and accommodating. We were traveling with a load and our tarp was damaged and she gave us a new tarp. She was friendly and helpful. Very hospitable. The rooms were comfortable, clean and homey. They have a basic cold continental breakfast and hot coffee in the mornings but there's also a cute soda fountain in town that serves breakfast. If you are ever driving through nowhere Wyoming and need a good place to lay your head, I definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked the buffalo lodge because we were passing through I-25 and need a place to rest overnight. Reached around 9:45 pm and was checked in quickly by the friendly staff. It an old motel so expect only minimal but very clean place. Served breakfast pastries and coffee so that was another good thing. Would definitely recommend.
