Buffalo County Recreation Area - Ravenna Lake

Stayed here a few nights ago. The premium sights are pretty quiet and well space. The bath house is a long walk, so not convenient. But if you're in a big rig, you shower in your rig. The place was really clean. We found no significant trash during our walk about the place. Camphost was super friendly. Be aware, it's really close to an active rail line. So there will be trains rolling through frequently. There are not crossings close by, but it's still very noticeable. We'd stay again.

Beautiful campground! Well kept and friendly staff. Great place to stay when you're in this area. A variety of shops in town, too.

Love spending at Buffalo County Park just east of Ravenna, NE off of Highway 2. It's nice that so much hard work and funding the county has spearheaded toward getting this place fixed up so nicely! Great place for tent and RV campers! Lots of picnic areas, including a pavilion for larger gatherings, and also a couple of new horseshoe pit areas for some old fashioned fun! The addition of the showers/restrooms and new dump station makes it so nice to dump and go without having to travel into town to do so. Just a real nice, family friendly place to have a relaxing weekend at! I was pleasantly surprised to hear that there are even more plans for improvements and renovations coming to the park including more premium camping spots, a new playground area, and new picnic pavilion area.

This was a surprise. Super nice area. We were just passing through, but will come back. Lovely trees. Restrooms are spotless!

A top notch, well maintained, quiet RV and park area. Staff are very helpful and very friendly.
