Budget Motel Rockwood

While it wasn't a 5 star hotel the bed was comfortable and the water was very hot. We stayed for 2 nights to visit our grandson. We didn't encounter any bugs at all. The owners we're friendly and helpful.

I stayed there for 4 nights. If you are looking for a 5 star motel don't come here BUT if you are looking for a comfortable room that's clean and cheap then this is your place. The room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The linens were clean but not "white" but then again neither are half of america's linens at home so who really cares of the color as long as they are clean! There is no ice machine, at least I couldn't find it but that's ok. No breakfast buffet in the morning but with the price I paid I didn't expect one. If that's what you are looking for then go up the road and pay $60/night more to get it, I'd rather hit the McD's for $4/night more! BED BUGS!!!! SMELLS LIKE WET CIGARETTES!! The sheets, Towels, wash rags, pillow cases everything was stained. If you have the option to stay somewhere else please do it!!

I'm giving this Motel a (3) only because the bedding was clean, everything in the bathroom worked & the TV being fairly new & working was nice. The cost for a nights stay for sleep & a good shower $85.00, $10.00 of which is a security deposit, when you return your key, remember to ask for it back. The refrigerator was dirty inside (didn't need it but I looked), I didn't even look in the microwave then. The curtains are dark which can be nice if you need sleep, but holes were patched with duct tape. 1 light by the bed didn't work & the room need patched up & paint in a bad way. The bathroom wall fixtures needed some correct attention too.

Bed bug infested. Warning if your vehicle leaks oil on pavement they charge a $40.00 clean up fee. This place is a joke. I had to give one star just to give a review. It should have minus stars. They don't deserve not even 1. Thank you..
